This VHF-L whip antenna is engineered for reliable performance across a variety of operational conditions, whether the radio is carried on the back, worn on the chest, or positioned on the ground. With no need for additional tuning, it ensures seamless and hassle-free operation.
The antenna features a radiating element crafted from durable multilayer steel tape material, offering exceptional flexibility and toughness.
It also includes a specialized passive transformer tuning network, securely housed in a robust fiberglass casing located above the input coaxial connector.
