Antenna - Wideband Tape Whip VHF-HIGH
The ANT-VHU-TW antenna is a wideband monopole whip designed for use with manpack and handheld radios, covering the VHF/UHF frequency range of 100 to 512 MHz.
This antenna is optimized for reliable performance across all operational scenarios, whether the radio is held in hand or carried at the side. No additional tuning is required, ensuring effortless and efficient operation.
The antenna consists of a radiating element made from a durable tape radiator, paired with an integrated antenna matching unit. The matching unit features a built-in passive transformer tuning network, securely housed in a fiberglass casing above the input coaxial connector.
To enhance functionality, a flexible “gooseneck” mechanism is positioned between the tape radiator and the matching unit, allowing the antenna to bend while maintaining a vertical orientation in any radio position.
