Hornet - US

The Hornet-US SDR is a digital video transceiver from SATCOM, specially crafted for Point of View (PoV) and Unmanned Systems applications. The Hornet-US offers an ultra-compact design, perfect for seamless integration into even the smallest systems. Depending on the loaded applications, this platform can function as a Transmitter, Receiver, Dual Encoder, and IP Mesh Radio node. The integrated dual HD H.264 video encoders offer ultra low latency for responsive UxV control.

Data Rates are automatically varied from 0.5 to 87 Mbps depending on the available SNR. The best throughput during a mission is achieved by automatically adapting the frequency bandwidth between 1.25Mhz and 20Mhz and the modulation between 4QAM(QPSK) to 64QAM with the option to switch over to another available link with a better link throughput capacity.
