Immersion Test Bench

The immersion test is performed during mechanical development to ensure the enclosure is 100% immersion proof at a depth of 1 meter for a minimum period of 30 min.  At sat-Com development the benchmark is to develop immersion survival at 3 meters for up to 3 hours. All our enclosure designs are proven to be performing to our standards and construction is repeatable.

Every Radios, devices demmed to be IP 67 including Afracal2 and VRI Amplifiers are certified to pass MIL-STD-810G.

After construction, final assembly and Factory Acceptance testing, each device is checked for air tightness at 3 meters before packing.

The leopard and Cheetah radiso have been tested up to 5 meters and shows no leaking.
