Sales Manager

SatCom is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales function within the secure and tactical communications sector.

This strategic role focuses on developing sales pipelines, managing key government and defence sector clients, driving tender and proposal processes, and positioning Sat-Com as a trusted communications partner both locally and internationally.

We’re looking for a proven sales leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience in complex B2G or defence-related markets. 

Please note: Technical knowledge of secure or tactical communication systems is not a requirement for this position. Full product and solutions training will be provided. We are looking for exceptional sales leadership — our engineers handle the technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a national and regional sales strategy aligned to Sat-Com's growth and expansion objectives
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within defence, government, and security sector markets
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of strategic clients with a focus on long-term partnership and contract retention
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements and present technical solutions to senior government and military decision-makers
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure client requirements are accurately scoped and delivered
  • Drive proposal development, tender responses, and bid management processes
  • Represent Sat-Com at industry forums, exhibitions, and government briefings, locally and internationally
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence to Executive Management
  • Build and mentor a high-performing sales team as the commercial function scale.
